Checkout the following quote from Alabama Coach Nick Saban immediately following his team winning the National Championship.  It is a great example of communicating with focus from each of the three dimensions!

"We wanted to stay disciplined in order to execute.  Do what we do, and be who we are."

So let's break this down based on Sports Axiology terms:

"We wanted to stay displined (internal systemic) in order to execute ( external extrinsic)."

"Do what we do (internal extrinsic) "

"Be who we are (internal instrinsic) "

Notice how many of the phrases are focused internally.  He does a great job of getting his team to focus on what they can control instead of focusing on what they can't control (their opponents)!
